“I figured send you some pics of my personal project. It’s a recently rescued 1930 Chevy 1.5 Ton utility flat bed truck. It sat on our farm up in Kansas for 65+ years. My grandfather passed last year and I went to go see the farm he was raised on as I had never seen it and that I’m going to inherit the some 880 odd acres up there in the future. I actually went out to see the tractor he always wanted to restore (I’ll include pics of that as well) as I have rebuilt cars, trucks, built race cars, motorcycles, boats, etc etc etc, but had never done a tractor.
Never did I think I would find HIS father’s Chevy in which he purchased new in 1930. You (and TheThrottle users) will enjoy some of the pics on here as some are rather artistic as well, and ALL taken with an android phone. It was recovered last September and resides here in Sugarland (suburb of Houston), TX!
I also used to work at a Hot Rod shop, I figured I’d follow up with some pics that I have that were taken with my phone at a hot rod shop I used to work at and some of the cars I worked on!”
Thanks Jake for sending these in and good luck on these cool projects.
