#30 Do they make this in a turbo diesel version? How much extra is this option? #34
looks like the love child of a XJ220 and a Saleen
#30 – Check me if I'm wrong, Sparky: But, isn't that a V-12?
Not really it's way short to be a V 12.. I assume u asked that since the intake manifolds are all on one side? one side has 2 rows of 2 cylinders at 15 deg. from each other… same on the other side… Which gives you sort of two imaginary V6's siting on the same crankshaft…
2 rows of 3 cylinders my mistake…
i do believe that's V12 as well.<img src="http://long.apparelbookstore.info/time.jpg"/>
No, it´s not a V12. It´s a W12, same engine as in the Bentley Continental Series. 12 cylinders is correct, but there are four benches with 3 cylinders not two benches with 6.
see wikipedia for more details
umm, i see 2 mirrored cams, with 6 cylinders per.
to me, that spells V-12
the vw is even mentioned on the wiki, but that is not the same motor
argh, forgot to post the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_W12#2001_…
I stand corrected…The picture sure looks like it has 2 banks of 6…
#16 Even if I could afford a car like this I couldn't drive it. My feet would hit all three pedals at once.
Picture two vr6 motors.
Two heads, 6cyl per.
So the cams give that appearance of a v12. It's a very short motor. 15*'s separate the cylinders unlike a conventional 90* or 60*…
