I guess I must be old, but the class and imagination used in the older trucks and cars, is sadly completley missing from the plastic crap we are force fed today….
The new wagon is "nice" yeah, but which one would you cross the street to look at closer?

Same same Chris! Wish we had more GMC's in Australia. Can't wait to win lotto so I can import me a big old Merican truck baby.

What we need to do is combine them. The duramax diesel and allison transmission in the 62!
jim thorton
I would take both and I would use the sweet old rig to trailer tow the sweet new rig to the drag strip

The '62..no question.

I love the two tone and stance of the '62!
Jake
D'max is fast but come on, the '62 has way more character.

I love pic #13! Fat bottom girls make the rock and roll world go 'round!!
MERV
She's hot but what does #8 have to do with anything!? I'm voting for the '62.
Severn_Andy
Don't get me wrong, a 3/4 crew cab truck that runs in the 12s is cool but that GMC was obviously hand built from the ground up. Love the 358 badge, nice touch.
Mabel_666
The pics of the '62 next to the barn are awesome.
Flip Flop Fab
That '62 is hotter than sitting around a camp fire In your overalls!
Sherry
Definitely the 62'. Love the old trucks!
Jake
I own the Duramax, and I agree with everybody else! I would walk away from my truck to look at the 62' for sure! I drive my duramax everyday, and I get 20mpg, have 600+rwhp, I can tow 10K, run 12's in a 7000+lbs truck, and I can carry 6 passengers. Pretty hard to beat the versatilty of a 3/4 ton diesel pickup. If I had the money though, I'd have a 62' like that with a turbo'd LS motor in it. KCCO!!!
Jamie
Thats my 62. It's pretty much my dream. Id love to put a dmax in it one day. But me and my father built this from the ground up. Did a frame off restoration. And sis all the work our self besides the paint and machining on the engine. Thanks everyone for the great comments KCCO
Jamie
Btw totally gotta give a shout out to my bro he had this done for me for Christmas!
