sadly I get that far too often. I've had more than my fair share of Evo or STi owners try to start stuff with my Z until they hear the distinct whine of a supercharger, then I can see their egos shrivel as they realize that a supercharged 7.0L versus turbo 2.0 or 2.5 isn't going to end well for them. I like Evos and STis, having owned a GT35R powered STi about 10 years ago, but most of their owners need to learn their place.

Respect where respect due, you can't deny the "Jap" cars are still 4 door sedans with a real trunk, and get decent mileage. I have a turbo american V8, and a similar import…love them both
