A guy in high school got a brand new 924 (when they first came out) from his parents. He and some buddies in auto shop class put a full body kit on it, ala 944. He didn't like it and took it back to stock. Must have been nice to have daddy's money to play with.

Old water-cooled Porsches are very popular as great track cars. I'm looking at one out of my window right now. Since they are worth relatively little, people drive them like they stole them. They can SMOKE….. Great engines in the 944S, S2 and the 951 (turbo).

Love this cars. I have a 924S, a 944turbo and a 968. The 924S has the turbo hood and front nose. They are my dailies except the 968. They are fun to drive and different from others on the road.
