: “Witnesses reported seeing 10 Ferrari’s speed down the Ansai section of the Shaanxi Baomao highway. A rear end collision occurred between a $200,000 Ferrari California and a $260,000 Ferrari 458 Spider resulting in these cars being severely crushed and the engine thrown free from one of the vehicles. Fortunately, there were no casualties from the accident.”

Shit happens. It's pretty amazing to see how the 458 broke apart. The structure breaks extremely similar to how a Forumla 1 car would. The front and rear take majority of the damage leaving the cockpit/driver relatively unharmed. Shows you how closely Ferrari's road car technology is to their race cars.
