“I wanted to submit my boyfriend’s truck as a possible thread. He would be really happy if he saw his truck up there since he’s addicted to the throttle. Here’s a little more info about his truck: (BTW, though he doesn’t let me drive it much, I have my own project car that I will post up soon)
Hot Rod Builder and owner of Phillips and Company Hot Rods, Rob Phillips, spent about 12 years on this project. Though it looks nothing like it did when he first bought it, Rob’s intent was not only to make this truck look good, but also build it to compete in autocross and track events across the country. Rob has competed in several race events with his C-10 including Goodguys Autocross Events, the Truckin Challenge, NMCA/NMRA, and Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge 2010 (to name a few). This truck is also a daily driver. Often we’ll take it up the coast and cruise though the canyons in Southern California. Future plans for this truck: possibly a new color scheme, maybe another motor swap. The project will never be done. For now, our main focus is to drive this truck as much as possible and just have fun.”
