If you live in rural or outback Australia you won't find any, you will find loads of Toyota's, Nissan's and mitsubishi's. And there is a reason for that! 1) It's rough country, no point spending mega bucks on European made 4×4's when a Jap made truck is tough, cheap and WILL cop loads of damage. 2) European 4×4's & American Jeeps just don't have the room to pack the amount of gear required to embark on a outback trip. They are usually a minimum of a 3 week run, you need loads of gear, Jap 4X4's and ute's (pickups) have double to triple the room. Jap 4×4's can also be modified with after market gear more then any other type. Standard 4X4s will not survive an outback trip simple as that.

Yeah, the Land Rover has got nuthin on the Toyota Land Cruiser. Tough as nails and worth every penny. The LR is an over priced trailer queen, 4×4 wannabe.
