#15 I've always wondered how much the driver actually uses these dials and knobs while driving. That's got to be a complicated task… Awesome post though!

Very expensive the dash is now in the steering wheel. Makes me realize how sharp a driver has to be as he is wheeling around a course

At the risk of being "that guy", a number of these are not F1 steering wheels. #1 is an Audi Le Mans Prototype wheel (admittedly not sure whether it is R-8 or R-10). Pics 3 and 7 seem to be from a couple of the lower formula car series, as they lack the requisite management dials of F1. I would also guess that pic #6 is from an ECU supplier during the tender process when McLaren Electronics won the tender to be the sole F1 engine management supplier, given that it is sanitized regarding team names and has all the standard F1 steering wheel controls.
