This car is my dad's dream car, he really loved it. And now i know why he loved it. This is one of the best car that is ever made.

Is it me or does it bother anyone else that AC is often forgotten? Granted putting a Ford V8 in it made it famous, but come on. Buy a Tiger its cheaper and just as fun.

No, the Cobra is not as much fun. It is a great car but the short wheel base makes it a handful. The Cobra is far more balanced. And FYI, Shelby's test driver and top engineer Ken Miles put together the first Tiger on contract for Sunbeam.

I am not dissing the Tiger, but it is not nearly as capable or fun as the Cobra.

sad to say carrol shelby didnt put a patent on his design so there are more replicas and kit cars out there than the real thing

Pssh… I'd much, MUCH rather have a Factory Five Mk IV than a Shelby. Performs way better, cheaper, more reliable if you build it right, and you can actually get parts for it. And you have no need to feel guilty for actually driving and enjoying it.
