- “Ever since I saw Back to the Future, I knew I wanted a DeLorean. Of course I was only 5 at the time, but I saved just about every dollar and worked every summer since I was 12. When I turned 17, I bought the DeLorean. It wasn’t until I turned 30 and was completely sh!t-faced that I finally convinced myself to make it a true time machine. I shipped the DeLorean off to Video Bob of Bob’s Prop Shop and he sent me back a converted time machine. I plan to rent it out for promotions and car shows to try and make back some of the money it cost to convert it.” Thanks Jim for sending this in. Check out more here

One of the most awesome things I've seen in a long time…
One question: Does it Work ?
Well, it is street legal and is a fully operational car, if that's what you mean. As far as time traveling…haven't hit 88 mph yet.
So you ruined a perfectly good example of a vehicle, that despite it's faults, remains cool decades after production? I hate you. But, at the same time, that freakin' awesome! Well done.
I get that a lot. Believe me, it took a long time to decide if I really wanted to "damage" a perfectly good classic car, but every time I look at it, I know I made the right choice.
Mr. Fusion is a nice touch…after all, it's not like we can go to the local corner store and buy uranium.
That is fantastic. I keep looking in the background for the Libyans in a VW Bus.
You sure didn't do it half-assed, it's really perfect and authentic. Seriously, it's a movie car.
Jim rents it out, it's not the actual movie car, that's how good a job he's done
check out his web site: http://rentthetimemachine.com/
flippin sweet!
Jim didn't build it, sure he bought and paid for it, but Video Bob of Bob’s Prop Shop converted it
Coolest thing I've seen all month! Bravo!
Somebody's going to steal this thing. Just sayin
No one will ever steal this car. I own an Ecto-1 and there are constantly people taking pictures of it. I'm never worried because if anyone ever tried to steal it, there would be hundreds of witnesses and photos of the culprits.
you are kind of my hero, good job man
Waaay cool!
You're living the dream!
Right on brother!
