ok pretend I don't know how it handles. It would stand to reason the car won't handle as well as a real Ford GT40 as it costs 1/4th the price. There's no way it could possible have the same design and parts. So therefore it wouldn't handle as well

Ok Jeremy Clarkson, but both of those cars don't handle near as good as the Kia Picanto.

It's not meant as a GT40 rip off it’s an original design. With proper assembly and setup it can handle just as well as a Ford GT or a Ferrari. It doesn’t cost as much because it was designed on a cranberry bog in MA and built in your shed and it’s simple. Saying that it doesn’t handle because of cost is just plain stupidity.

Also, I'd like to say that if you're talking about the Ford GT40, then that is a 1960's car, with 1960's technology, and I'd dare say the Factory Five GTM would handle better than it. However, I think you are talking about the car from 2005 called the Ford GT. Not the GT40. Your nomenclature alone is showing a large amount of ignorance here. (Let alone the fact that you are considering price point the only measure of how a car can perform)

These are good looking cars. I had the unfortunate experience of watching one wreck at The Texas Mile this past weekend after a 174 mph pass. Shame.

I always felt that was the downfall of these cars. I love FF cars…their cobra kits speak for themselves… and that 33 rod? holy damn is that thing wonderful….The GTM though… it is just downright homely to me…I have looked at build sites…thinking maybe it was the angle of the pics or the color or the wheels….nope still ugly lol. its a shame too because the performance numbers are great

IMO pictures don't do it justice. I'm not crazy about most of these pics either but, just recently, one passed me on the interstate and damn it looked good

What an idiot with that GT40 comment. My Lotus Exige out-handles a Ford GT and I paid 30k for it barely used.
