This is one of my favorite concepts of all time. I was lucky enough to see it at the Houston Auto Show several years ago. At the same show, the Cadillac CIEN and Sixteen were making waves. I thought the USA auto industry was about to do something truly special. I was wrong.

that there were strings aetachtd to all the bail-out monies; that only with a total makeover would any company get so much as a dime of taxpayers’ money; that that makeover would involve a total green transformation and a specific commitment to sustainability to which any variation would result in Federal crimes that would be guaranteed to be prosecuted top down…and NO administrator or CEO would receive more than 10 times the pay of the lowest paid employee. Sustainable companies would have thrived, and the dinosaurs, the old fat-cat GM type industries would have experienced a much deserved death. Their laborers? The retooling and creative options ahead of us in a sustainable nation would provide more jobs that anyone could imagine. And how ’bout that oil spill? Do you hear anyone questioning why we have such a demand for petrochemicals and oil in the first palce? No! It’s all about finger pointing and deciding which company to blame, BP, TransOcean or Haliburton. The public is to blame because we support a government of suck ups who just can’t resist the solid gold carrots dangled before them by corporate powers. America, think independently.
