Cafe racers are cool, not my style, but still cool to look at, specially love the V-twins. Check out what an Aussie company is doing with the cafe racer scene: http://www.deus.com.au/
i love deus! and cafe's rock, my next bike will def be cafe styled.
#12 and #1…in preference order
Look up Carppy on YouTube. Number 18 is his work. Cool guy out of Cali. http://www.cb750cafe.com
#12 Who put a can opener in a post about cafes? I saw one of these once at a dealer. I thought it was a joke. #18 One day I'll buy a bike from the great Carpi. His posts on his website are hilarious.
IMHO, you can't make a legit cafe racer out of any bike made after 1983. But there are some great specimens here, particularly #22 and #23 (even though 23 is almost more of a cafe bobber).
And yes, Deus Ex Machina makes some pretty badass bikes! I have an old Yamaha thumper that I'm modding up like one of theirs.
in order #4 , #8 , #18
