haha, a 900 horsepower N/A 346ci v8 that is 10,000+ rpm stable for 4 straight hours is old technology? Damn, I want to go back to 1961 and shake the hand of the guy that produced the 10k+ rpm 900hp engines…

What is this Faggotry? I cant believe you are giving credence to this abomination they dare to call "racing". Nascar and its' fans are lower than peasants in the Automotive world (one step above mini-van drivers if you ask me). The fact that this is the most popular form or "racing" in America makes me ashamed to live in this country.

I guess that is the reason why Juan Pablo Montoya and many other drivers who came from "Real racing" to race in NASCAR…. Are you going to make $150,000+ per week in F1?

On the contrary… i was fortunate to work in several forms of motorsports for many years and saw a long line of F1, indy, sports car and road racing hot shoes try to compete in nascar and go home with their tails tucked. do some research on the technical ways they use that old technology as well as the nuances of the driving styles and you might be surprised. drivers in all forms of racing have a real respect for each other and the varying forms of racing… much more than fans do. although i will agree that the new cookie-cutter car is really hurting the sport.

I agree man. I'm a fan of all forms of racing. Racing in Nascar isn't as easy as it looks. The cars are much heavier and it does take a different type of skill to compete. I will admit that it has become more boring recently and I guess it is due to the cars. I look forward to the day that they return to actual stock cars. I have heard though that in 2013 they're supposed to be going to Challengers, Camaros, and Mustangs.

Yeah, 3600lbs, 900hp, on a 12" tire lol. Not quite like a 2000lb F1 car on 18" tires. People who like to bash Nascar dont know anything about it.
