I feel that a year ago, this Camaro would have been totally badass. The king of muscle cars. But with the Boss 302 as it's main competition (please don't compare it to the GT-500, that thing is a piece) I don't think this will shine nearly as much, especially if it can't beat the 302 around the track when it is up 100 horse power on the Mustang.
All that aside though, this thing is breathtakingly gorgeous.

But, then again. Who says this thing won't throttle a Boss around the track. I'm just basing the fact that the GT-500 has 100 more horse power than the Boss as well, but the 302 makes the Shelby look like a bitch. It's all in the suspension… but, from whats been said, the Camaro has the suspension to back up the talk.

While I love Camaro and will always hate on Mustang your right that gt-500 does have more hp. it will be a great race to see there two titans race. One problem thats plague new camaro is oversteer im hoping this new suspension and electric steering can help camaro

The GT-500 is rated at 550 HP which is right around where the Camaro should be rated and I can tell you right now, this Camaro will bend the Shelby over and ravage it.
The real battle will come down to the Boss 302 VS ZL1 where it will all come down to, has Chevy fixed the handling problem and, if they have, the horse power difference will make the Chevy eat the Boss for lunch.

The Boss 302 isn't the competition to the ZL1, the ZL1 was made to compete with the GT500…regardless of what you think of it.
The Z28 is still in the works and since the Z28 was a track car designed to compete in the SCAA Trans Am series I would think that if and when chevy releases it, the Z28 will be the competition for the Boss 302.
