Very poor comparison. If you take a look at the dust & debris coming from the '59 at 1:54, you'll see that it had some pretty severe deterioration over the years. This video was designed to show how far we've come in safety over the past 50 years, but really, it's only been within the past decade that any real advancement has been made. Watch this video of the crash test for a 1995-2004 Blazer – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTbA0fhBark. The 11 second mark shows more interior intrusion than on the '59.
