"Hi throttle I'm from Mexico and this is the Mastretta MTX which is a Mexican sport car, totally designed in Mexico.
The MXT is a 900kg two-seater powered by a two-litre turbocharged Duratec engine developing 240bhp. According to Mastretta, it'll hit 60mph in 'under five seconds', which sounds plausible given the power and weight claims. I know this is not a Ferrari or Lambo or any other super car... but most of peopple dont know it..."
I'm not a huge fan of the rear but I really like the rest of the car.

The front is too tall, and the rest of it makes it look like a cheap ricer… I am not a fan. I would turn my head, but only to laugh or yell things at you like I do with any shitty civic "tuner" haha

Its got a unique design, I would buy it if I had the money. I dont care about what people say. Most critics are based on their own personal way of thinking, and they dont realize that any country is capable of designing a car like this specially like Mexico, you should know tv only shows the desertic undeveloped areas where indigenous people live, so everybody thinks this way of mexico, I have been living in mexico for more than 10yrs. And I could say this country is growing big and is more developed and talented than many european and asian, without even mentioning the us. But anyways, we ll see what will happen with new mastreta

Just some information, Mexico is the nineth auto manufacturer of the world and plan to be the eight by 2015, currently Mexico produces more cars than France, England, Italy and Canada among others, also is one of the biggest producers of autopart mostly made by mexican companies, For example Tremec a mexican manufacturer of transmissions was selected as the best chice for the GM Corvette sport car, many parts that you probably use in your car are designed and made in Mexico, Buses etc.. and ARE CONSIDERED TOP QUALITY, unfortunately many common people do not know that fact in USA or Europe

Mi opinion no es negativa ni tampoco hipocrita!
Creo que Mexico a sido criticado por tratar de hacer algo a un alto performance cuando no tiene algo que lo respalde como manufacturador de un auto de esta categoria, es como ensenar a manejar a tu hijo en un corvett ultimo modelo nuevo! y si queda vivo cual sera el segundo?

Being a Corvette owner myself I can testify to the quality of the Tremec T56 and T6060 transmissions, and they are great quality. That isn't proof of an entire country being good on manufacturing though. For instance South Korea makes Samsung TVs which are the best in the world, but they also make Kia, which sucks. The Japanese make great motorcycles, sucky cars. While I am not saying Mexico can't build a good car (several cars are built by American companies in Mexico), the MXT doesn't seem to be that good. Even if you get past the ugliness of it, it uses the same engine that is in my sister's decade old base Jetta, and having driven her Jetta in the past I can tell you that it is very gutless.
