Hell Yeah! My dad took me to see this when it was first released. It was awesome. He also took me to see the Blues Brothers in 1980. He was the coolest dad ever and I am so glad he passed along his appreciation for multi-car pile ups in film to me.
Great post, great movie, made with no money and no permits and filmed on Sundays to avoid the cops
Except that just about all the cops in the movie were real cops using their real vehicles.
Awesome movie… yes, cheezy music and acting, but who cares – it's one long car chase/demolition derby! It's on my shelf along with Bullitt, Two Lane Blacktop, LeMans, Ronin, French Connection, etc.
Sweet!! Beats the crap outta that Nic Cage catastrophy. Loved the original.
I love this movie. Filmed all around the South Bay of LA.
