23, and in particular, 19 tickled my fancy. ^^

  2. Locode says:

bridge building is very cool…when done right. The classic video of the Tacoma bridge that wasn't built correctly should be viewed by all engineers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-zczJXSxnw

  3. Gaby says:

I want to run in those bridges, from one side to the other, completely naked except for high heels, yes.

  4. jme says:

14= Clifton suspension bridge, i grew up next to it, the first suspension bridge ever!

  5. The EnD says:

The Brooklyn Bridge can get so easily lost among the other (much bigger) structures of the New York City Skyline… yet there is a certain majesty to it.

  6. Paul says:

#23 – Bolte Bridge in Melbourne, Australia
    My town baby!

  7. Ghost Turd says:

is #22 the John Ringling Causeway in Sarasota, FL? I figured the Sunshine Skyway Bridge would make this list over that one…lol

  8. Matt says:

  10. EZRebel says:

What no McCarran-Tillman (near Hoover Dam) photos? Next time how about only one photo of the Brooklyn Bridge. Love the Mackinaw Bridge!

  11. MisterX says:

  12. Cmoney says:

    16 Zakim Bridge Boston
Awesome at night, you fly out of the tunnel coming from the south and take off on the bridge with black lights; like an airplane taking off, gets me pumped driving it at night

    • matt says:

nope, thats not the zakim. looksl ike it, but the tops of ours come to a point, like the top of the bunker hill monument, not slanted like this one.

  13. Malte says:

The only way to make this gallery better would be to tell us where all these bridges are.

  15. fan says:

    12 is from regensburg germany……………

  16. Ryan says:

#4 is Hohenzollern Bridge in Koln (Cologne), Germany. The Cathedral is the location of the remains of the Three Magi. Pretty awesome place to visit. City also has an intact Roman road that dates back a couple thousand years.

  17. Ryan says:

#15 is the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, England…It's kind of messed up because it's a popular spot for people to uh…jump…

  18. walkingdeadonline says:

Number 3 is the bay bridge, SF

33 is a bridge on the Big Sur in northern California.

So many of the european ones look familiar, and I'm sure at least one is in Prague or Krakow, though I may be wrong.

  19. walter says:

No Jeff Bridges? Come on, Chive!!!!

  20. Evil Dung Beetle says:

The picture of the Astoria bridge (21) is terrible. It really doesn't do it justice. It's a lot longer than it looks in that picture.

  21. SlicyDicy says:

number 6 is the Sydney harbour bridge, and number 16 is the ANZAC bridge… both in Sydney… number 29 is the confederation bridge joining new brunswick and PEI

  22. Buddy says:

The light on the Sydney harbour (7) bridge is shown coming from the south. Don't happen here. Sun rises in the East (rly) then head north and sets in the west, i think… no South…. ever
