Ahh, Pareidolia, you strike again. Pareidolia is the psychological concept that humans are predisposed to find faces in things without human features such as clouds, the grain of wood, and, of course, cars. I think the car companies are onto this one. In fact the manufactures have commissioned studies showing consumers perceive a car's "strength" by how angry it looks. My condolences to the Mazda 3 then, the most egregious of the manufacturers in adding a "face" to their designs. I know I would feel a little strange driving a smiley face around all day.
