The newly redesigned CTS released in 2008 was a step in the right direction for Cadillac's design department. The lines were cleaner than Caddies of the past and no one could argue shoehorning a Corvette LS engine into the CTS was a great idea for the hot "V" version. Fast forward to now. Here is the CTS Coupe, the more sporting variant of the CTS sedan, and boy did Cadillac get it right. The design utilizes some of those same crisp lines from the CTS sedan but adds a bit more sporting character. Arguably a bit slab sided but one thing is for sure, this is NOT your father's Cadillac.
