The Porsche 911 GT3 R hybrid begins with a 480hp flat-six but the fun really begins with the 60-kilowatt electric motors that power the front wheel. The way this works is by storing kinetic energy produced during braking. This stored energy can then be released for extra power at the press of a button. I'm not confident that this race car is saving the environment but pressing buttons for instant power is always fun.
